Taxi drivers cancel slow march and will meet the minister of the Environment

Representatives from the sector's associations will meet today with the minister of the Environment.

Florêncio de Almeida, the president of ANTRAL (one of the association for taxis), confirmed to ECO that taxi drivers cancelled the slow march planned from the airport to the Portuguese Parliament. Protesters will instead remain at the airport waiting for the outcome of the meeting of four representatives in the Ministry of Environment.

Three men have already been arrested for vandalizing an Uber car.

Traffic in the city remains congested.
