The new hub starts with 60 employees and comes at a time of growth for Reltio, which has secured $120 million in equity and has a valuation of $1.7 billion.

Cloud master data management platform provider Reltio announced the opening of its first technology hub in Europe. The choice of location relied on Portugal, more specifically Lisbon. “Portugal has a forward-looking, business-friendly environment, an attractive economy, top-level talent, capital and easy access to key markets and customers around the world,” Manish Sood, president and co-founder of the American technology company, said to ECO.

The new hub, which is inserted in the offices that the company already had on Avenida José Malhoa, will start with 60 employees and comes at a time of growth for Reltio, which recently secured $120 million in equity and has a valuation of $1.7 billion. The goal is to continue recruiting in Portugal through partnerships with universities.

Asked about the amount invested, Manish said only that a “substantial investment” was made in the office’s location in Lisbon, which represents Reltio’s “largest expansion and first technology hub” in Europe.

Founded in 2011, Reltio is a cloud-native master data management (MDM) SaaS platform that unifies – in real time – core data from multiple sources into a single source of trusted information.
