Tekever has opened an office in Estonia as it expands in defence markets and joins the country’s largest annual military exercise.

Portuguese drone maker Tekever has opened an office in Estonia, extending its international expansion. The announcement comes as the company takes part in Spring Storm 2026, Estonia’s largest annual military exercise.

Tekever said the exercise involves more than 12,000 participants, including allied NATO forces from countries such as Portugal, the UK and Canada, and runs until June 1. The company said it is supporting demonstrations and operational activities focused on operational coordination, data integration and timely decision-making support.

The new Estonia operation will be led by Tuuli Vors, Tekever’s Baltic market lead. According to the company, her role will include building local relationships, deepening cooperation with end users of its equipment and exploring industrial participation and collaboration opportunities in Estonia and the wider region.

With the Estonia office, Tekever adds another market to a growing international footprint that, according to ECO’s reporting, already includes a hub in Ukraine, operations in Cahors in France, the UK and, more recently, North Carolina in the United States. Earlier this month, the company also announced a strategic hub in the US and a new engineering centre in Bristol.
