GreenVolt is set to start construction on two projects in Poland

The company's intention is to sell both assets before they start operating, "in response to existing market demand, but also in compliance with the strategic plan presented to Its investors".

GreenVolt announced on Thursday the decision to proceed with the construction of two projects in Poland, with a total capacity of 59 MW. The Portuguese company aims to sell both asset during 2023.

According to a statement released by GreenVolt, the first project is located in Sompolno and “has 26 MW of wind capacity, 10 MW for solar and 3 MW for storage, being the expected Commercial Operational Date (COD) the first half of 2024.”

As for the second project, it’s located near the city of Opalenica and “consists of three solar parks, with a total capacity of 20 MW”. The COD is expected to be achieved in the third quarter of next year.
