Abreu Advogados advises on sale of Celfinet to the Indian multinational Cyient

Abreu Advogados advised the shareholder of the Portuguese wireless telecommunications consultancy Celfinet, Open Spiral, SGPS, SA, on the sale of 100% of the company’s share capital to the Indian multinational Cyient, for €41 million.

Partner Pedro Alves da Silva and consultant Teresa Anselmo Vaz led the advisory services to the seller of the Portuguese consulting firm throughout the negotiation process in an operation that involved more than one jurisdiction, namely Portugal, Mozambique, the United Kingdom, Spain and Brazil.

The advisory services also included a multidisciplinary team from Abreu Advogados, with lawyers Pedro Alvim, senior associate, Madalena Caldeira, retained partner, Ricardo Henriques, partner, António Frusoni Gonçalves, senior associate, Zara Jamal, partner, and Imelda Sousa, associate from JLA Advogados, a Mozambican law firm member of the Abreu International network.
