After announcing its entry into the Spanish market in June 2021, with the launch of its technology platform in Madrid, Kitch is now expanding its services to Barcelona, Malaga and Valencia.

With over 400,000 meals served in Lisbon, Porto and Madrid, Lisbon-based tech startup Kitch will expand operations to three new Spanish cities. Restaurants in Barcelona, Valencia and Malaga will be able to implement a home meal delivery system without losing their independence.

“The Spanish market is incredibly interesting and the demand for delivery services continues to grow,” Justifies the co-founder and CEO of Kitch, Rui Bento, stating in a press release the desire to “support Spanish restaurants in serving this growing demand and take control of their online sales.”

Kitch provides a technology platform that focuses, on the one hand, on the option for restaurants to create their independent online shops, allowing them to sell their dishes on home delivery and takeaway, and, on the other, on integrating into one place all the restaurants’ digital orders from the delivery apps they already work with (e.g. UberEats, Glovo and others) as well as from their independent shops.

The expansion into three new markets comes after the “positive response” from restaurants to Kitch’s launch in Madrid last June, the company revealed in the press release.
