Three more Covid-19 deaths, 367 new cases confirmed

In the last 24 hours, 367 new cases were identified by the coronavirus in Portugal, with the total number of infected rising to 40,104.

Portugal has recorded three more deaths related to Covid-19 than on Tuesday and 367 more infections, most of them in the Lisbon and Tagus Valley Region, according to the health authorities’ (DGS) epidemiological bulletin.

DGS figures show 1,543 deaths related to Covid-19 and 40,104 confirmed cases since the beginning of the pandemic.

Compared to Tuesday’s data, today there has been a 0.2% increase in deaths. Cases of infection have risen by 0.9%.

In the Lisbon and Tagus Valley region, where the highest number of outbreaks has been recorded, the Covid-19 pandemic reached 17,527 confirmed cases, 302 more than on Tuesday, which corresponds to 82% of new infections.
