Health authorities have identified 242 new cases of infection with the new coronavirus. 20 people died from Covid-19 on the last day.
Portugal has registered 242 new cases of Covid-19 in the last 24 hours. This is an increase of 0.96% over the previous day, with the total number of infected people rising to 25,524.
By midnight on Monday, Portugal has registered over 25,000 cases of people infected with coronavirus. Of all these cases, 813 are hospitalized, of which 143 are in intensive care, the DGS bulletin shows. But there are still 2,760 people waiting for laboratory results and 25,081 under surveillance by health authorities.
Since it appeared in the country at the beginning of March, the disease has already caused the death of 1,063 people. In the last 24 hours, there have been 20 deaths.
