The Prime Minister says, in the Socialist Party podcast, that there has been an increase of foreign companies wanting to invest in Portugal.

Portugal’s Prime Minister, António Costa, said that the foreign investment in Portugal will continue in the near future, even in the scenario of crisis. Furthermore, the Prime Minister assured that there are even more companies wanting to invest in the country.

“All the foreign direct investment intentions we had in our portfolio have reaffirmed their intention to invest. We’ve even had signs of interest from new companies to invest in Portugal,” said António Costa to the podcast “Politics with a Word,” quoted by Radio TSF.

However, according to the radio, Costa did not go into more detail about these intentions, indicating only that this interest is observed in “various” sectors of the economy.
