CGD has sold over 3,000 real estate properties in 2017 and earned 338 million euros

Three of those sales happened "by means of organized consultation proceedings to the market, and had over two dozen Portuguese and international investors who were interested and presented proposals".

Caixa Geral de Depósitos (CGD) has sold, last year, over 3,000 real estate which earned them 338 million euros. Out of that amount, 68 million euros came from the sale of three buildings in Lisbon in December of 2017.

Among the sales, Edifício Marconi located in Entrecampos (Lisbon) stands out, according to the press release from the bank disclosed this Monday. CGD also stated that they sold Edifício Santa Maria (Entrecampos) and Edifício República 50 (near Campo Pequeno).

These sales took place by means of organized consultation proceedings to the market, and had over two dozen Portuguese and international investors who were interested and presented proposals“, the bank headed by Paulo Macedo stated, while also disclosing that these three sales got them 68 million euros.

As for all of 2017, CGD says they sold “3,100 real estate properties all throughout the country, especially outside of Lisbon and Oporto urban centers, and generated 338 million euros” — 58% more than in 2016.
