The renewable energy company surpassed the €1 billion barrier in market value, on the day the new shares from the capital increase went public.

GreenVolt is experiencing a busy Monday on the stock exchange. On the day when almost 18 million new shares from the capital increase made by the company start being traded, the significant rise in securities led the electric company to exceed the €1 billion barrier in market value.

Around midday in Lisbon, the PSI shareholder had a market capitalisation of €1.09 billion. A milestone passed at a time when shares advanced 3.57% to €8.13, a price that also represents an all-time high.

It was in early June that the company chaired by João Manso Neto announced a €100 million capital increase by issuing 17,792,576 shares at a price of €5.62 each. The operation was completed with success.

Since January 1, GreenVolt has appreciated by more than 30% on the stock exchange.
