Barkyn was the company chosen by Valentino Garavani to present in Barcelona its new line of luxury bags aimed at dog lovers.

Portuguese startup Barkyn was challenged by Valentino Garavani to present the latest line of luxury bags Rockstud Pet. A collection aimed exclusively at dog lovers, in which the bags can be personalised with their pets’ portraits and initials.

“Knowing Barkyn’s mission to make the lives of dogs and owners better, Valentino invited us to collaborate and be part of this exclusive presentation. We worked for weeks to create a memorable event for dogs and owners that would celebrate the unique love that unites them, now possible to immortalize in Valentino’s latest line of tote bags,” said Sofia Oliveira, Head of Brand at Barkyn, in a statement.

The launch of the most recent bag collection took place at Valentino Garavani shop in Barcelona, and Barkyn was in “charge of fashion moments, happy-hours with canine cocktails and workshops of simple, healthy snacks approved by dogs.”

As for the Rockstud Pet bags, these have four variations from €1600 and are customised with the painting of the dog’s portrait and initials. The pieces are made by illustrator Riccardo Cusimano, and are available online and in selected Valentino Garavani shops in Europe.

Founded in 2017 by André Jordão and Ricardo Macedo, Barkyn is a Portuguese startup that delivers customised food and provides 24-hour veterinary assistance in Portugal and also in countries like Spain and Italy.
