PwC plans to hire 500 employees in Portugal by 2022
The recruitment process is part of the consultancy's global plan to hire 100,000 people over the next five years.
PwC wants to hire about 500 employees in Portugal next year, an official source from the consulting firm told ECO. The decision comes under the mega recruitment process of 100,000 people that the company will carry out over the next five years and is expected to invest $12 billion (€9.9 billion) on hiring, artificial intelligence and cybersecurity.
“We plan to recruit about 500 employees next year,” an official source from the company told ECO, without giving any figures for the next five years, nor in terms of hiring, nor in terms of investment allocated to this project.
The company will increase the global number of employees by more than a third with this recruitment process, raising the number of employees to around 400,000. PwC currently has 284,000 employees worldwide.
This new recruitment process is part of the consultancy’s plan to invest €9.9 billion on hiring, artificial intelligence and cybersecurity, according to the Wall Street Journal.
