Soares dos Santos reappointed CEO of Jerónimo Martins

Pedro Soares dos Santos was re-elected as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Jerónimo Martins for the three-year period 2022-2024.

Pedro Soares dos Santos was reappointed CEO of Jerónimo Martins for the three-year term 2022-2024, the company revealed in a statement sent to the Portuguese Securities Market Commission (CMVM).

After this Thursday’s General Meeting, Jerónimo Martins informs that it has decided “to reappoint Pedro Soares dos Santos as Chief Executive Officer of the Group for the three-year period 2022-2024,” the statement indicates. The CEO will also assume the position of Chairman of the Group’s Board of Directors.

Andzrej Szlezak, António Pedro Viana-Baptista, Artur Stefan Kirsten, Clara Christina Streit, Elizabeth Bastoni, Francisco Seixas da Costa, Maria Angela Holguin Cuellar, Natalia Anna Olynec and Sérgio Tavares Rebelo.

In another statement published in the CMVM, the company that owns Pingo Doce and Biedronka announced that it will distribute a gross dividend of 78.5 cents per share, regarding last year’s fiscal year. The dividend payment will take place “on May 18, 2022 and the ex-dividend period will start on the 2nd working day prior to the payment date, which means May 16, 2022”.
