Portugal’s 10-year bond yield drops after two-month high

After increasing consecutively for five sessions, the Portuguese 10-year bond yield fell two basis points this Monday to 0.464%.

Portugal’s 10-year government bond yield dropped in the first session of 2022, after a rally late last year that pushed the yield to its highest since early November, two months ago.

After increasing consecutively for five sessions, the Portuguese 10-year bond yield fell two basis points this Monday to 0.464%. It had closed 2021 at 0.485%, which was the highest rate since November 1.

As for the 5-year government bond, a decrease was also registered: the yield declined down to -0.243%.
