Most Portuguese (53.2%) believe that 2021 will be marked by a greater crisis in the political debate.
Most Portuguese anticipate greater political instability next year, shows a survey made by Intercampus for Correio da Manhã and Jornal de Negócios. However, the majority also believe that the government led by António Costa will be in office until the end of the legislature.
The poll shows that 53.2% of the over 600 participants believe that 2021 will be a year marked by a greater crisis in the political debate, while 36.3% hope that nothing will change. On the other hand, only 5.5% of respondents are optimistic about the mood inside the Parliament.
The vast majority of those polled (61.7%) believe that António Costa’s administration will be in office until the end of the legislature, particularly in the 18-34 age group. Only 25.5% say this government will not ‘survive’ for another three years.
