The Euronext markets "will be open from Monday to Friday throughout 2021", but for a few days there will be exceptions.

In 2021, Euronext will turn off the trading screens for several days. In Lisbon, there will be three days without the usual buzz.

Euronext markets “will be open from Monday to Friday throughout 2021”, but for a few days there will be exceptions. And these exceptions will start on January 1.

According to Euronext’s calendar, the Lisbon stock Exchange will close on the following days:

  • January 1 – New Year’s Day
  • April 2 – Good Friday
  • April 5 – Easter

In addition to these days when the markets are closed, there will also be two days when trading will be shorter than usual.

  • December 24 – Christmas Eve
  • December 31 – New Year’s Eve

In these two days the Lisbon stock exchange will open as usual, that is, at 8am, but the ending of negotiations will take place at 1pm, taking into account the festive dates.
