253 more Covid-19 cases, two more deaths in last 24 hours
The number of cases of coronavirus infections in the country has increased to 54,701. To date, there have been 1,786 deaths and 40,129 people recovered from the disease.
Portugal on Wednesday recorded two deaths from Covid-19 and 253 confirmed cases of infection compared to Tuesday, according to the epidemiological bulletin of the Directorate General of Health (DGS).
According to the DGS bulletin on the epidemiological situation, since the beginning of the pandemic, there have been 54,701 confirmed cases of infection and 1,786 deaths.
The region of Lisbon and Tagus Valley registers the two deaths in the last 24 hours and a further 159 cases of infection, with a total of 28,284 confirmed cases.
