Number of Covid-19 cases increases 0.5%. Death toll at 1,330

The number of registered cases of coronavirus increased by 0.5% to 30,788. 14 people have died from the disease since yesterday.

The number of people infected with coronavirus is currently at 30,788, having increased 0.5% compared to this Sunday. According to data from the Directorate-General for Health (DGS), the disease has already caused the death of 1,330 patients in the country, of which 14 in the last 24 hours. So far there have been 17,822 cases of recovered people.

Of the total number of infected, most are receiving treatment at home, with only 531 being hospitalized, of which 72 in intensive care units. There are 1,899 people awaiting laboratory results and more than 26,000 under surveillance by health authorities.

Since it appeared in Portugal at the beginning of March, the coronavirus has caused the death of 1,330 people, 14 of them in the last 24 hours.
