The government doubles the value of the credit line for companies affected by the virus.

Portugal’s government will double the credit line for corporate treasury support from €100 million to €200 million as one of the measures to minimise the impact of the new coronavirus that were announced on Monday to the social partners.

The government today reinforced the measures to mitigate the economic impact of the epidemic and reduce the cash effort in the coming months.

The credit line is aimed at micro, small and medium enterprises, has a fully subsidised guarantee commission and will be available from the 12th.
