“Local solutions for worldwide problems”. The motto is to think global and act local. SenseCamp is back in Lisbon for its second edition, this time in Impact Hub Lisbon. The event is taking place between September 22 and 24, and will receive guests and participants and it will have a full schedule: panels, workshops, business tours around the city and cultural and artistic activities, the organization assures.

The programme includes experts in the area, namely entrepreneurs, who will present their projects and have open discussions. The main purpose of the event is to gather all members of the MakeSense community and also all those who, according to the organization, “intend to make a difference in the world thanks to social entrepreneurship”, in an “inspiring” and “creative” environment.

The early bird tickets are available until September 4, and the remaining tickets can be acquired until September 15 or at on the first day of the event.

MakeSense is a worldwide organization of mostly volunteer entrepreneurs who work with business ideas that will have a social impact. There are around 3,000 volunteers all over the world, and the company aims to give them a chance to solve specific challenges in social entrepreneurs’ projects. The idea is for them to give “their contributions to solutions for some of the major problems we are currently facing”.
