The company said in a statement that the Madeira-Marraqueche-Menara flights will operate every Thursday and Sunday, departing from Madeira Airport at 09:20 am, and returning from Morocco at 5:35 pm.

Spanish airline Binter will operate a new route between Madeira and Morocco from July 3 to September 25, also reinforcing links between the region and the Canary Islands in the summer, the company announced on Friday.

The Spanish company said in a statement that the Madeira-Marraqueche-Menara flights will operate every Thursday and Sunday, departing from Madeira Airport at 09:20 am, and returning from Morocco at 5:35 pm.

“The routes will use an ATR-72, with a capacity for 72 passengers, in which the airline’s high level of service to passengers is maintained, with a courtesy menu and a modern on-board entertainment platform with a wide variety of content,” it said.

Binter has also scheduled three new routes with the Canary Islands – Lanzarote, Fuerteventura and Tenerife South – and will strengthen connections with Gran Canaria during the summer season.

The flights to Fuerteventura and Lanzarote start on July 2 and will be operated every Saturday, while the connection with Tenerife South will run on Mondays and Wednesdays from July 4.

“Likewise, the company will also reinforce its flights with the already operational route with Gran Canaria during the months of July and September, so that it will thus start operating connections with the island every day of the week,” indicates the Spanish company.

Direct flights to Tenerife North airport will be maintained on Tuesdays and Saturdays.

Binter also stressed that it has “almost doubled” its schedule in Madeira for the summer season, with an offer of over 100,000 seats, 38% more than last year.
