Goldman Sachs: Daniela Braga recognized as one of the ‘100 most intriguing entrepreneurs of 2021’

The Portuguese woman who founded and leads DefinedCrowd is on Goldman Sachs' "100 Most Intriguing Entrepreneurs of 2021" list.

Goldman Sachs recognized Daniela Braga, founder and CEO of DefinedCrowd, as one of the “100 Most Intriguing Entrepreneurs of 2021”. The Portuguese woman was honoured during the “Builders + Innovators Summit” event, in Healdsburg, California. Daniela Braga is one of the 12 people who will help design the data strategy for artificial intelligence, in the United States.

With two decades of experience across research, industry and entrepreneurship, and a hybrid background that spans from linguistics to engineering to AI, Daniela Braga is a citizen of the world and one of the world leaders of Crowdsourcing adoption in large enterprises. Braga raised over US$63 million, and is the woman founder who raised the largest Series B in an AI company in the United States.

She founded DefinedCrowd in 2015 and in recent years has received several awards and nominations such as “Entrepreneur Of The Year 2020 Pacific Northwest finalist” and “Entrepreneur of the Year 2019″ by the João Vasconcelos Award. Under her leadership, DefinedCrowd ranked #27 in the Inc 5000 list with an 8550% revenue growth, won the VentureBeat AI Innovation Award; and was featured on several rankings, such as Forbes’ America’s Best Startup Employers, Forbes’ America’s Top 50 Most Promising AI Companies, and CBInsight’s AI 100: The Artificial Intelligence Startups Redefining Industries.

In addition, last June she was selected by Joe Biden’s Administration to the 12-person group that will help design the data strategy for artificial intelligence in the United States, joining the “National Artificial Intelligence Research Resource Task Force”.
