Most of the contracts signed fall under the economic and social resilience pillar, which includes measures in the area of housing and infrastructure, among others.

With a limited time window to define and implement projects, the contracts to apply the Recovery and Resilience Plan (RRP) funds are advancing. Almost half of the funds of the so-called European “bazooka” have already been contracted.

The figures are included in the RRP monitoring report and reveal that 44 financing contracts have been signed (corresponding to 48% of the allocation) and 29 are already being executed. Most of the contracts signed fall under the economic and social resilience pillar (29), followed by Digital Transition (11) and Climate Transition (4).

The resilience dimension, which includes measures for the National Health Service and housing, for example, has already contracted €6.176 million, while the Digital Transition €1.027 million and Climate Transition €710 million.

Most of the beneficiaries are families, followed by Higher Education Institutions. Around €155 million have already been committed (of which €150 million are for schools) and payments total €4.4 million.
