Lisbon among the best destinations to visit in Europe – TripAdvisor
The Portuguese capital is one of the top 10 European cities not to be missed, prepared by TripAdvisor. Lisbon is also in the world ranking.
Lisbon is among the best destinations in 2019, chosen by TripAdvisor travellers. The Portuguese capital appears in the world ranking, having fallen two places compared to last year’s list, and in the European, where it remained in the top 10. At the top of both lists is London.
The Portuguese capital was chosen as the eighth-best European city to visit. Already in the ranking extended to the rest of the globe, prepared by the TripAdvisor travel site, from the comments and opinions of users, Lisbon is positioned as the 18th destination not to be missed.
For the tourists who strolled through the city of the seven hills, attractions such as the Maritime Museum and the Casa-Museu Anastácio Gonçalves stood out, in addition to those better known as the Monument of the Discoveries and the Belém Tower, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The European ranking is led by the British capital, followed by Paris in France and Rome in Italy. This podium is repeated in the world list, where cities of the Old Continent dominate, but places such as Bali in Indonesia and Phuket in Thailand are also included.
