Former TAP CEO to lead Etihad Airways

Antonoaldo Neves will replace Tony Douglas, who has been the CEO of Ethiad Airways since 2018 and is now leaving for another professional opportunity.

Former TAP CEO Antonoaldo Neves is the new CEO of Etihad Airways, according to Jornal de Negócios, citing the ADQ fund that recently bought the company.

Antonoaldo Neves, TAP’s previously CEO between 2018 and 2020, will replace Tony Douglas, who has been in charge of Ethiad Airways since 2018 and is now leaving for another professional opportunity.

Etihad’s new CEO will leave the helm of the startup Oner Travel, a business he created after leaving TAP.

Neves will be replaced by Tatiane Alves in the startup’s leadership but will remain on the company’s board of directors.
