KLM's new destinations for the winter programme from Lisbon or Porto via Schiphol are Nantes in France, Rovaniemi in Finland, Aarhus in Denmark and Katowice in Poland.

KLM has announced plans to increase its offer of flights to and from Lisbon and Porto, via its Amsterdam-Schiphol hub, to as many as 163 destinations – 92 European and 71 intercontinental – between October 28, 2022 and March 25, 2023, in the latest sign that parts of the tourism sector are more than recovering its losses during Covid-19.

In a statement released on Tuesday, the Netherlands-based airline said that this represented an increase of over 30% from the same period in 2019, before the pandemic.

KLM’s new destinations for the winter programme from Lisbon or Porto via Schiphol are Nantes in France, Rovaniemi in Finland, Aarhus in Denmark and Katowice in Poland.

“This winter, KLM will also continue to operate the flights to Austin (Texas) in the US, which were introduced in the summer,” the statement adds. “Compared to 2019, KLM will offer more seats on flights to North America.”
