ANA - Aeroportos de Portugal has revised upwards its estimate of flight cancellations on Monday at Lisbon's Humberto Delgado Airport to 32, including 17 arrivals and 15 departures.

The company that manages Portugal’s airports, has revised upwards its estimate of flight cancellations on Monday at Lisbon’s Humberto Delgado Airport to 32, including 17 arrivals and 15 departures, according to information released late in the afternoon.

In a statement, ANA – Aeroportos de Portugal said that “32 flight cancellations are scheduled for today at Lisbon airport: 17 arrivals and 15 departures” – having earlier in the afternoon pointed to 29 cancellations.

Still, the figure is lower than that recorded over the weekend, with ANA reporting 65 cancellations on Saturday, and 39 on Sunday.

ANA cited “constraints” at several airports in Europe and the closure of the runway at Lisbon airport for a few hours on Friday due to private jet having burst its tyres as the main causes for flight cancellations at the facility.
