Galp to pay interim dividend of €0.25
Galp's board approved the distribution of an interim dividend of €0.25. The dividend will be payable from September 16, 2021.
The Portuguese company Galp announced on Monday the distribution of an interim dividend of €0.25 per share to shareholders. The dividend will be payable from September 16, 2021.
The dividend was approved by the board of directors on August 20. In a statement sent to the market, Galp said that, after taxes, the dividend will be €0.18 or €0.1875 per share, depending on the shareholders’ tax status.
In early June, Galp committed to the market to maintain a base dividend of €0.50, but opened the door to a variable component that is dependent on the level of debt.
The oil company led by Andy Brown also stated that as of September 14 2021, the shares will be traded on Euronext Lisbon without giving the right to a dividend and that the record date is September 15 2021.
