Consumer price inflation unchanged in August at 1.5%
According to Statistics Portugal (INE), the country's consumer price inflation in August was 1.5%.
Consumer price inflation in August was 1.5%, unchanged from the rate recorded for July, according to information released on Tuesday by Statistics Portugal (INE).
The underlying inflation indicator – the total index excluding unprocessed food and energy – is said to have accelerated to 0.9%, 0.1 of a percentage point higher than the previous month.
The August CPI final results will be released on September 10th, 2021.
