Continental Group's engineering services provider wants to recruit 500 employees in Portugal by 2025.

Continental Engineering Services Portugal (CES), the Continental Group’s engineering services provider, wants to recruit 500 employees in Portugal by 2025. The strategic plan foresees that in 2022, the company will have 250 employees and in 2025, 500.

CES is recruiting software engineers, embedded SW systems engineers, hardware engineers, systems engineers, cybersecurity specialists, penetration testers and full stack developers.

“Two years later we are a team with 100 employees and I can say that we made an excellent decision to invest in Porto, where we found a young, committed and highly motivated team to face the technological challenges ahead and in that sense we have increased the growth plan to 500 engineers in the coming years,” said Jochen Diehm, CES Portugal Managing Director, quoted in a statement.

Continental Engineering Services is a subsidiary of the Continental Group, which was founded in 2006 to provide engineering services to industrial companies. It started in the German cities of Frankfurt and Nuremberg with 30 engineers, but now employs nearly 2,000 staff and has 24 locations in 13 countries around the world.
