Portugal: Day with no deaths and just 180 new cases of Covid-19

Since the start of the pandemic, Portugal has had 837,457 cases and 16,777 deaths from Covid-19.

There are 180 new cases of coronavirus compared to Sunday, bringing the total number of people infected with the disease to 837,457. No Covid-19 deaths have been reported in the last 24 hours, according to the latest official report of the Directorate-General for Health (DGS).

Of the total number of people infected with the new coronavirus, most are undergoing treatment at home, with 322  inpatients, 90 of them in intensive care units (ICU). There are over 12,000 under the surveillance of the health authorities.

Since it was detected in Portugal at the beginning of March last year, the coronavirus has caused the death of 16,777 people.
