Covid-19 causes three more deaths, 388 new cases

In the last 24 hours,388 new cases of Covid-19 have been identified in Portugal. The Lisbon and Tagus Valley region has again concentrated the largest number of new infections.

Portugal has recorded three more deaths and 388 new cases of infection related to the Covid-19 pandemic in the last 24 hours the health authorities (DGS) said on Tuesday.

According to the daily epidemiological bulletin, Portugal has registered 1,846 deaths and 60,895 cases of infection since the beginning of the pandemic.

The three deaths were registered in the region of Lisboa e Vale do Tejo (1) and in the region North (2).

The Covid-19 pandemic has caused at least 889,498 deaths and infected more than 27.1 million people in 196 countries and territories, according to a balance sheet made by the French agency AFP.
