Former lawyer of Isabel dos Santos accused in Luanda Leaks

Jorge Brito Pereira will have opened at least two companies to the daughter of the former president of Angola.

Jorge Brito Pereira, who was once the chairman of Nos, was set up as a defendant in the investigations of Luanda Leaks, after the Police searches carried out last week in a mega operation in several localities in the country, reveals Jornal Económico (JE).

Brito Pereira, a former lawyer of Isabel dos Santos was mentioned in the Luanda Leaks case for having opened at least two companies to the daughter of the former president of Angola. The lawyer has stated that he has not performed any act of management.

According to the JE, Jorge Brito Pereira is suspected of money laundering and tax fraud related, among other operations, to transfers of over 100 million euros from Sonangol to a consultancy in Dubai.
