The number of cases of coronavirus infections in the country has increased to 36,180. Since the outbreak was detected in the country, 1,505 people have died.

There are 270 new cases of coronavirus in Portugal, bringing the total number of people infected with the disease to 36,180. The Lisbon region continues to have the highest number of new infections. So far, 1,505 people have died.

Of the total number of infected, most are undergoing treatment at home, with only 400 being admitted, 73 of them in intensive care. There are 1,486 people awaiting laboratory results and over 30,000 under surveillance by health authorities.

Since it appeared in Portugal at the beginning of March, the coronavirus has caused the death of 1,505 people. However, just one person died in the last 24 hours. It should be noted that the last time the Directorate-General for Health (DGS) had registered one Covid-19 death in the country in a single day was on March 19.
