Galp to issue €500M in debt maturing in 2026 with coupon of 2.0%

Galp is to issue 500 million euros in new debt maturing in January 2026. The transaction is being handled by BBVA, BNP Paribas, CaixaBI, Mizuho, Santander and UniCredit.

Galp, one of Portugal’s largest companies, with activities in oil, gas and electricity generation, is to issue 500 million euros in new debt maturing in January 2026 with a coupon of 2.0%, it announced in a statement to the country’s Securities Markets Commission (CMVM).

“Galp informs that it has set today the terms of a EUR 500,000,000 bond, with maturity in January 2026 and a coupon of 2.0%,” reads the note, released after the close of trading on Tuesday. “The notes, issued under the EMTN Programme (“Euro Medium Term Note Programme”), are expected to be listed on Euronext Dublin.”

The note also states that the transaction is being handled by BBVA, BNP Paribas, CaixaBI, Mizuho, Santander and UniCredit.

Galp shares closed Tuesday’s session on the Lisbon stock exchange down 3.24% at €11.48.
