The Portuguese regulator on Monday issued a warning that the Royal C Bank is not authorised for any Financial intermediation activity in the country.

Portugal’s Securities Markets Commission (CMVM) on Monday issued a warning that the Royal C Bank (www.royalcbank.com) is neither authorised nor registered for any financial intermediation activity in Portugal.

In a statement, the market regulator also warns that the said entity “is not legally qualified to carry out advertising or prospecting for clients aimed at the execution of financial intermediation contracts.”

To check that any entity offering investment services in financial instruments is authorised to carry out activities in Portugal, the CMVM recommends consulting the list of authorised financial intermediaries on its website.

Any person or entity that has established any commercial relationship with Royal C Bank may, it adds, contact the CMVM for further clarification.
