Cruise line owner buys 30.22% of Media Capital
The businessman Mário Ferreira, who owns a large river cruise company in the Douro, bought 30.22% of Media Capital.
Media company Prisa announced today that businessman Mário Ferreira, who owns a large river cruise company in the Douro, has bought 30.22% of Media Capital, through Pluris Investments, in an operation carried out through the block transfer of shares for 10.5 million euros.
In a statement to the Spanish regulator CNMV, Prisa stated that Vertix SGPS, its subsidiary, and Pluris Investments, a company owned by Mário Ferreira and Paula Ferreira, signed “the acquisition by Pluris of shares representing 30.22% of the share capital of Prisa’s Portuguese subsidiary, Media Capital SGPS Group”.
“The operation was carried out through a block transfer of the shares for 10,500,000 euros”, it added.
