Cases of Covid-19 rise to 13,141. Death toll at 380

The number of confirmed cases of Covid-19 in Portugal rises to 13,141. Also, 196 people have already recovered from the disease.

Portuguese health authorities found 699 new cases of Covid-19, bringing the number of people infected with the new coronavirus in the country from 12,442 to 13,141. The daily evolution rate is about 5.6% and a total of 196 people have already recovered from the disease.

The data collected by the Directorate General for Health (DGS) also shows that the disease has caused the death of 35 people in the last 24 hours. This information brings the total number of deaths caused by the pandemic in Portugal to 380.

Most of the cases are in the North of Portugal (7,386), where 208 deaths have already been recorded. It is followed by Lisbon and Vale do Tejo region (3,424 cases), where 68 people have died from Covid-19 so far.
