EuroBic private banking chief implicated in Luanda Leaks found dead

Nuno Ribeiro da Cunha, director of EuroBic private banking and account manager at Sonangol, was found dead at his home.

Nuno Ribeiro da Cunha, director of EuroBic private banking and account manager at Sonangol, was found dead Wednesday night at his home in Restelo, Lisbon.

According to PSP Police at the scene “the body was found in the garage and everything points to suicide”.

Nuno Ribeiro da Cunha was indicted in Angola within the scope of the Luanda Leaks case, together with the businesswoman and daughter of former Angolan President Isabel dos Santos, Sarju Raikundalia, former Sonangol financial administrator, Mário Leite da Silva, manager of Isabel dos Santos and president of the Board of Directors of BFA, Paula Oliveira, friend of Isabel dos Santos and administrator of NOS.
