The luxury brand will have access to over 150 countries via Farfetch. Pieces from the next collection will be available for delivery in 24 hours.
If one of your dreams was to receive a Burberry trench coat delivered to you in a day, Farfetch can make it come true. The English luxury brand announced this Thursday they signed an agreement with the company founded by José Neves to have their products online, with 24 hour deliveries of the next collection pieces.
“Burberry announces a new global partnership with Farfetch, the leading global technological platform in the fashion industry, to strengthen its presence in e-commerce”, according to the brand’s press release. “This integration will expand Burberry’s distribution to a world scale, giving the brand access to over 150 countries”.
This means it is now possible to order any of the brand’s 500 iconic products with just one click, and receive the delivery on the next day. And with the help of the “Show to Door” service, pieces from the Fall-Winter runway will be able to be delivered 24 hours later, in London.
“We are excited with our partnership with Farfetch. Burberry has been paving its way in the digital world and this is a natural and significant evolution for us, as we seek to reach new and more conscientious clients”, highlighted Daniel Heaf, in charge of the luxury brand’s digital marketing.
As for Farfetch, according to the CCO Giorgio Belloli, stated they are very happy with having Burberry in their portfolio, since clients all over the world “love the brand, and so working together means we can assure all the lovers of fashion have a larger access to a selection of Burberry’s products, wherever they are”.
Launched in 2008, Farfetch already connects clients from 190 countries to over 700 luxury brands and boutiques.
