Portuguese PM says Angola and Portugal’s relationship “is great”
The new Angolan President takes office this Tuesday in a ceremony that will welcome 30 heads of State and Government, including the Portuguese President Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa.
The Portuguese prime minister António Costa stated, this Tuesday, that he believes Portugal’s relationship with Angola “is great”, as can be proved by the Portuguese presence during the ceremony for the new Angolan President.
In Lisbon, António Costa stated he believes both countries have a “great” relationship. “It is clear that the relationship between both countries is great, by the way the President and the Foreign Affairs minister are representing Portugal in the inauguration of the President João Lourenço”, he stated, before sending his best wishes to the Angolan President.
The new Angolan President, João Lourenço, takes office this Tuesday in Luanda, in a ceremony with over two thousand national and foreign guests, including 30 heads of State and Government, among which stands the Portuguese President Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa.
