The electricity company headed by Manso Neto will supply energy to the state of Indiana, USA, after having signed a long term contract with a local company.

EDP Renováveis will sell energy in Indiana, USA, after its subsidiary EDP Renewables North America signed a long term agreement with Cummins to sell energy produced by 75 MW from the wind farm in Meadow Lake VI.

This takes place after the Meadow Lake project assured another 75 MW contract in November 2016, which means the wind station will now total 150 MW, the company headed by Manso Neto stated in a press release sent to the market. The project is located in the North-American State Indiana, “with start of operations expected for 2018”, EDP Renováveis stated.

“With this new arrangement EDPR has already secured 1.3 GW of long-term agreements in the US, for projects to be installed in 2016-2020 (0.4 GW in 2016, 0.4 GW in 2017E and 0.4 GW in 2018E), securing more than 70% of the 1.8 GW of target capacity additions in the US for the period”, explained the clean energy company.

"The project, that will now total 150 MW, is located in the State of Indiana with start of operations expected for 2018.”
