TAP launches new air bridge between Funchal and Lisbon
The airline will start operating seven flights a day between Lisbon and Funchal starting from March 28.
TAP will strengthen the number of flights between Funchal and Lisbon from the end of March, creating a new air bridge, with access to fast track and check-in up to 45 minutes before departure.
“TAP today launches the new Airbridge between Funchal and Lisbon, which as of now offers five daily flights in each direction, rising to seven flights a day from March 28,” the airline said in a statement.
The airline promises “great flexibility in changing bookings on the same day and greater comfort,” highlighting the access of passengers to the fast track at Lisbon airport, which allows faster passage through security control. Check-in can be done up to 45 minutes before departure.
The increase in flights is an old demand from the autonomous region, which also wanted a daily connection to Porto Santo, even during the low season.
