The construction company decided to increase the maximum amount to be placed in the ongoing debt issue from €75 million to €110 million.

Mota-Engil has decided to increase the maximum amount of its current sustainability-linked bonds from €75 million to €110 million. The decision was announced on Tuesday by the company.

On November 10, Mota-Engil published the operation’s prospectus, reporting the intention to place up to €75 million through the issue of 150,000 sustainability-linked bonds with a maturity of five years and a fixed interest rate of 4.25%.

On Tuesday, the construction company decided to make an “addendum” to the prospectus, reporting that it was decided to “increase the maximum number of bonds” to be issued of up to 220,000, “and therefore increase the total nominal value of up to €110 million”.

The decision comes more than a week after subscriptions for the new bonds were launched.
