The venture capital company is working on a restructuring and investment plan to make Cariano viable.

Atena Equity Partners, a venture capital company, will restructure Cariano, a Portuguese crane rental company. In a statement, Atena explained it will help make this company viable through a restructuring and investment plan.

“Atena Equity Partners will enable the future of Cariano,” the venture capital firm said, stating it was already “working on a restructuring and investment plan in order to promote the viability” of the company. “This investment process is coordinated with the company’s management team, supporting the manager in the operational continuity of Cariano and in presenting reliable solutions for its clients.”

This operation will allow “all the jobs and technical resources with which the company operates to be safeguarded”. “With the success of the current operation, Cariano and its employees will benefit from strengthened financial solidity and will thus be able to put its full potential into practice,” said Victor Guégués, founding partner of Atena Equity Partners, in a statement.

Cariano operates in the assembly and maintenance of wind towers in the country. Over the last five years it has had an annual turnover of around €5 million, and has shown “strong resilience, despite the challenges encountered,” Atena said.
