3,009 new cases and ten deaths by Covid-19 in Portugal

Since the start of the pandemic, Portugal has had 963,446 cases and 17,330 deaths from Covid-19.

There are 3,009 new cases of coronavirus compared to Wednesday, bringing the total number of people infected with the disease to 963,446. Ten people have died in the last 24 hours, according to the latest official report of the Directorate-General for Health (DGS).

Of the total number of people infected with the new coronavirus, most are undergoing treatment at home, with 954  inpatients, 208 of them in intensive care units (ICU). There are over 20,000 under the surveillance of the health authorities.

Since it was detected in Portugal at the beginning of March 2020, the coronavirus has caused the death of 17,330 people, ten of them in the last 24 hours.
