1,350 new cases and six deaths by Covid-19 in Portugal

Since the start of the pandemic, Portugal has had 860,395 cases and 17,055 deaths from Covid-19.

There are 1,350 new cases of coronavirus compared to Tuesday, bringing the total number of people infected with the disease to 860,395. Two people have died in the last 24 hours, according to the latest official report of the Directorate-General for Health (DGS).

Of the total number of people infected with the new coronavirus, most are undergoing treatment at home, with 351  inpatients, 83 of them in intensive care units (ICU). There are over 20,000 under the surveillance of the health authorities.

Since it was detected in Portugal at the beginning of March, the coronavirus has caused the death of 17,055 people, six of them in the last 24 hours.
