373 new cases and five deaths by Covid-19 in Portugal

Since the start of the pandemic, Portugal has had 838,475 cases and 16,988 deaths from Covid-19.

There are 373 new cases of coronavirus compared to Monday, bringing the total number of people infected with the disease to 838,475. Five people have died in the last 24 hours, according to the latest official report of the Directorate-General for Health (DGS).

Of the total number of people infected with the new coronavirus, most are undergoing treatment at home, with 283  inpatients, 77 of them in intensive care units (ICU). There are over 22,000 under the surveillance of the health authorities.

Since it was detected in Portugal at the beginning of March, the coronavirus has caused the death of 16,988 people, five of them in the last 24 hours.
