Altri injects €69.95 million in Greenvolt to prepare for IPO

Greenvolt had a share capital of only 50 thousand euros until now. With this operation, the company's share capital increases to 70 million euros.

Altri is preparing the stock market dispersion of its renewable energy business. While it is evaluating the operation, it is preparing Greenvolt for this step, having increased the capital of the potential new listed company on the national stock exchange. Altri has injected 69.95 million euros into the company that will be headed by João Manso Neto.

According to Portugal’s Justice Portal, this capital increase was carried out on April 1. It was done through the “incorporation of free reserves in the amount of 19.950.000,00, with the issue of 3.990.000 new shares to be distributed by the shareholders in proportion to their respective stakes,” but also with the entry of cash.

In cash, 50 million euros were injected through the issue of 10 million new shares with a nominal value of 5.00 euros each, with Altri (7,500,000 shares) and Caima Energia (2,500,00 shares) subscribing in the cash increase,” reads the Justice Portal.

Greenvolt had a share capital of only 50 thousand euros until now. With this operation, the company’s share capital increases to 70 million euros, and it is now represented by 14 million shares.
